The Architizer A+ Awards are the definitive global architectural award program, covering more than 90 categories and judged by a highly-esteemed jury of over 300 industry leaders. While Popular Choice winners are determined by online public vote, the Jury Award is chosen by an exclusive jury of industry experts. 2020 Jury members included Amanda Levete, Carlo Ratti, Kimberly Dowdell, and Winy Maas, among many others.

Vejlands Quarter, which won in the Unbuilt Masterplan category, proposes a new model for collective living, one in which nature and urban life are tightly bound. The project, located just outside of Copenhagen's center, is to be the city's first all timber neighborhood - but not before extensive site remediation is undertaken to return the site to its natural state.

FastCompany recently named the project as one of three timber projects setting the standard for timber design and construction, noting that the project marks the "tipping point of a timber revolution."

Henning Larsen previously received an Architizer A+ award in 2015 for the Moesgaard Museum in Aarhus.
