SKALA returns with 31st edition: Architecture in a time of polarities

Three decades after its final issue, we have relaunched SKALA magazine taking a snapshot of architecture’s place today.

Marking what would have been the year of Henning’s 100th birthday, SKALA no. 31: Architecture in a time of polarities, is continuing the magazine’s legacy. We have gathered leading voices in art and architecture from around the world to contribute and explore the discipline’s role in a rapidly changing world.
Contributors are: Kjetil Trædal Thorsen (Snøhetta), Gabriela Carrillo (Colectivo c733), Nathalie De Vries (MVRDV), Stig L. The 31st edition explores themes such as the intersection of technology and design, the relationship between built and natural environments, and architecture’s social responsibilities.
