Disciplines like landscape design, spatial planning, graphic design, lighting design, acoustic design, product design, client consultancy, and sustainability have long been part of Henning Larsen’s portfolio. For more than ten years, in-house specialists and industrial Ph.D. students from a variety of different fields have used their special skills to qualify and strengthen the architecture.

Now, our range of services is gaining greater visibility. With the recruitment of Maria Beyer Skydt as a new director of Business Development for these services, we’re further investing in marketing our special competencies within fields like microclimate and energy design, landscape and interior design.

Maria Beyer Skydt comes from previous experience as the Head of Business Development at Lendager Group as well as Business Development Director at BIG.

“For years, Henning Larsen has worked with integrated design and built a grand knowledge base within a long list of special services that help us create stronger, more robust and sustainable cities and buildings. With the increased demand for this expertise, I see great potential in investing even further in these services and continue to offer them, both on our own and for external projects,” Beyer Skydt says.

Holistic design

CEO at Henning Larsen, Mette Kynne Frandsen, is delighted about this development:

“The creativity of the architects is inspired and strengthened by knowledge from other sources. It is also important when we are advising clients in the early stages that we approach their project with as many different fields and perspectives as possible. We have done so for many years. But as we increasingly wish to push the sustainable agenda, we are now focusing even more on spreading awareness of our competencies and specialists, " she says.
