Designed in collaboration with Brdr. Krüger, the Ekko Chair explores the dialogue between furniture and architecture. Originally designed for Højvangen Church in Skanderborg, the chair’s design logic extends into the exhibition layout, where 70 chairs from the church encircle a central column. Acting as both furniture and framework, the structure becomes an architectural echo that fills the showroom.
This collaboration marks Henning Larsen’s first chair design since 1969, and Brdr. Krüger’s first church chair since its founding in 1886. Now a permanent part of Brdr. Krüger’s collection, the Ekko Chair resonates with timelessness in both form and function.
