We are looking for an Architecture Intern in Copenhagen

The internship will start in August and last for 6–12 months. This internship is meant to enrich your studies, and we can only accept applicants who are currently enrolled as students.

Why do we need you?
To continue our journey of creativity, innovation, and setting best practices, we are looking for an ambitious and curious Architecture Intern to join the Copenhagen studio. You will get the opportunity to work side-by-side with senior architects and lead designers on high-profile projects across scales — from cultural buildings and HQs to commercial, renovation and transformation projects — helping us pioneer sustainable change through design.

What will you be doing?
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Contribute to the design process through participation in competitions, sketch proposals and design development phases.
  • Produce renderings, diagrams, presentation graphics and physical or digital models.
  • Support the team with technical drawings and visualization workflows.
  • Collaborate with specialists (sustainability, landscape, engineering) across project phases.
  • Participate in team meetings, design reviews and client presentations.

What are we looking for?
As our new intern we anticipate that you:

  • Are studying architecture and will not graduate until after the internship is over.
  • Have an exceptional design sensibility and strong skills in rendering, diagramming, graphic design and model-making.
  • Have proficiency in Rhino, Enscape and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Are an excellent communicator, proactive and results-driven.
  • Are committed to excellence and professionalism and able to work independently as a self-starter.

What are we offering?
Joining Henning Larsen, you can expect:

  • To work alongside skilled professionals on award-winning, internationally minded projects.
  • Exposure to a wide range of specialists and high professional standards in a collaborative culture.
  • A 6–12 month paid internship with competitive remuneration and local employee benefits.
  • A creative studio environment with a strong social culture (Culture Club, Friday bars in Copenhagen) and opportunities for professional development and potential further employment.

How do you apply?
Submit your application, portfolio (max 10 MB) and CV as three separate PDF documents on or before 15 May. You do not need a perfectly formal cover letter—tell us about your motivation, how your qualities fit the position, and why you want an internship at Henning Larsen.

Please note that interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis. If you have questions, please contact recruitment.copenhagen@henninglarsen.com.
