Business Development Manager

We are looking for Business Development Manager/Bid Manager for our Munich or Berlin Office

We are seeking a to join our design studios in Munich or Berlin. In this role, you will play a key part in generating, securing, prioritizing, and winning projects that position Henning Larsen as a leading international design studio globally. As we grow, we need your expertise to help us proactively secure new opportunities, forge successful partnerships, and drive strategic collaborations.

You will be joining a dedicated and skilled international Business Development team of 10 individuals with various backgrounds. You will be working closely with our international community, as well as our Design Directors, and you will be instrumental in driving our proactive business development from Germany. Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive new business opportunities
• Develop market strategies
• Proactive outreach –
• Manage stakeholders & partnerships
• Drive market research & activation
• Lead tender submissions
• Oversee lead management
• Report on new business activity
• Support marketing efforts
• Coordinate cross-functionally

What are we looking for?

• A proven track record with a minimum of five-seven years in a similar role, specializing in strategic business development and/or marketing communications, preferably within design studios.
• Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
• A growing network and strong understanding of the stakeholder environment, including clients, collaborators, and partners.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in both written and verbal German and English.
• Strong ability to write concisely and distill key information effectively.
• A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment—agile, dedicated, and driven by a strong team spirit
