Associate Design Director Landscape team

We are looking for an Associate Design Director for our Landscape team in Copenhagen

Why do we need you?
To strengthen our Danish/ Nordic project portfolio and to further grow our Danish market position in landscape, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced landscape architect to join our Copenhagen team.

We are looking for an experienced design professional with local experience and an international outlook who’s is passionate and knowledgeable about sustainability and experienced in delivering high quality projects as we are.

As our Associate Design, you will have a market and client focus and play a key role in reaching out to our clients, and in forming our continuous journey of innovation and design excellence. You will drive stakeholder collaboration, ensure design quality and project delivery, as well as proactively ensuring a diverse landscape portfolio in DK and the Nordics.

You will be part of Henning Larsen’s global design community and work closely with a dynamic team of landscape architects, architects, urban planners and sustainability experts on projects that make a real difference.  At Henning Larsen, we are committed to a working culture of great impact, endless curiosity and a high degree of freedom.

What will you be doing?
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Driving the growth of Henning Larsen in the Danish landscape market.
• Building and growing relationships with clients and collaborators.
• Participate in business development on landscape, outreach work in collaboration with the business development team.
• Strengthen the quality of design at both competition and project level.

What are we looking for?

As our new Associate Design Director, we anticipate that you have:

• A master’s degree in landscape architecture/ urban design architecture or equivalent.
• Min 8 years of landscape architecture/urban design practice
• Outstanding portfolio of work showing outstanding design capability and creativeness
• Insight into the Danish market and a strong network of collaborators and peers in DK and the Nordics.
• Confident in client management, presentation and collaboration
• A proactive attitude, strategic insight and adept in business development.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, Danish or another Scandinavian language.
• Proficiency in relevant software.
