The project is based on the principals of design for the model program “The Program for the Good Hospice in Denmark” where the palliative treatment is an integrated part of the design of the building from the beginning.
Wood is the main material in the building, which has been created with inspiration from a traditional farmstead with shared facilities and 14 single rooms – all oriented towards the adjoining lake.
The wings of the farm have been twisted, thereby creating a number of recesses for private terraces, living rooms and a conference room plus two inner atriums.
