The building is situated adjacent to the Metro making room for a green landscape in front of the building. With its deflection from the straight line of the Metro, the shape of the building accentuates the Metro’s change from underground massif to open elevated railway.
In front of the main entrance, the parking facilities elegantly fit into the green landscape, which is demarcated by the hill at the corner of the square Eksercerpladsen and Vejlands Allé. The hill functions as a green gathering point with trees and connects the cycle track north of Vejlands Allé along the Metro with the south-going cycle track along the canal.
The facade relief of the building creates a beautiful pattern and provides the building with a vibrant expression. The facade is clad in natural slate and with window openings placed in horizontal, continuous sequences around the floors of the building, which provide the entire building with an ample inflow of daylight.
