Peer Teglgaard Jeppesen

Peer Teglgaard Jeppesen has been a Partner and member of the management team since 2003. In 2006, he was appointed Design Director of Scandinavia. Peer is responsible for competition proposals for large Danish and Scandinavian projects with a particular focus on cultural buildings and master plans. Peer has previously been Associate Professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture, and as a professional judge and jury member in architectural competitions, Peer closely follows new developments in the field of architecture.

Experience

Experience

In addition to the areas of culture and master planning, Peer has experience in the design of educational, administration and commercial buildings. He has been responsible for the architectural design of numerous projects - from the very first sketches to completed building.

Peer was responsible for the design of the Copenhagen Opera. The location of the Opera was decided on the basis of a study of the inner harbour of Copenhagen, which Peer also headed. In Reykjavik, Peer has managed the development of the East Harbour Project, a masterplan for the eastern harbour of the city centred around the new Harpa - Reykjavik Concert Hall and Conference Centre. Most recently, Peer has been responsible partner for the new NCC domicile in Oslo, Norway, as well as the first-prize winning proposal for the new cultural landmark in Trondheim, 'Leüthens Kulturhage'.
