Ósbjørn Jacobsen

Experience

For many years, Ósbjørn's focus has been on the early concept and sketching phases but in recent years, he has prioritised following selected projects through the planning and building phases as the project and design responsible. This has provided him with comprehensive experience in managing architectural processes and professional communication with a broad spectrum of partners and clients.

Since the project started in 2004, Ósbjørn has acted as the design and concept manager and has been one of the prime forces behind the design of Reykjavik Concert and Conference Centre and the appertaining masterplan of Reykjavik Harbour. Since September 2008, Ósbjørn has been stationed in Iceland as the project and design manager of these projects. Previously, he has been one of the driving forces behind the design of the new IT University in Ørestad City.
