Another two projects pre-certified for LEED

Henning Larsen Architects’ mixed-use residential and commercial buildings, The Butterfly and Cascading Condos, have achieved 48 and 49 points respectively for their energy-efficient designs. Most likely, they will both end up qualifying for Silver in the final assessment of their performance.

With the most recent LEED pre-certifications, Henning Larsen Architects has reached a total of five LEED pre-certified projects within the masterplan of King Abdullah Financial District covering approx. 1.6 million m2. Recently, the overall masterplan was also pre-certified for LEED.

Cascading Condos

Cascading Condos is a mixed-use building bordering the ring road surrounding the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). The building comprises a combination of residences and commercial spaces.

The Butterfly

Situated along the periphery of King Abdullah Financial District, The Butterfly marks the transition between the new district and the remaining part of Riyadh. The building comprises a mixture of residences, commercial and retail functions.
