Topping-out ceremony in Riyadh

Ambassador Christian Kønigsfeldt spoke at the ceremony and gave special thanks to the 25 construction workers on site. Project Director Niels Fuglsang from Henning Larsen Architects emphasised the good collaboration process on the project.

The Danish Embassy in Riyadh is designed by Henning Larsen Architects and opened in 1988. The Embassy includes a Chancellery with attached residences situated in a small, closed complex. The architecture is based on a simple, Scandinavian design, while the yellow ochre and white corner ornamentations are inspired by the local area and Arabian desert sand.
