The inauguration of the Concert Hall will take place on 4 May 2011 with a concert by the local symphony orchestra and the Russian conductor Vladimir Ashkenazy. On 13 May, a telecasted opening concert with more than 400 men on stage during the evening will follow.
A number of events will be held during the summer up until 20 August when the three-dimensional south facade of the Concert Hall created in collaboration with Olafur Eliasson is expected to be completed. Here, the final opening ceremony and celebration of the completion will take place.
