Signe Kongebro, who manages the sustainability department of Henning Larsen Architects, was presented with the award by CEO of Wonderful Copenhagen, Lars Bernhard Jørgensen (to the left), and Jacob Hartmann from the Copenhagen Green Business Network.
“The Green Business Award is a recognition to companies who have demonstrated an inspiring approach to environmental and climate issues. As Mayor of the Technical and Environmental Committee, it is a pleasure to see companies, citizens and City work together to meet the climate goals of Copenhagen”, says Bo Asmus Kjeldgaard, Mayor of the Technical and Environmental Committee.
Henning Larsen Architects was recognised for its ”persistent and inspiring work in the fields of climate and environment” and for “influencing and disseminating knowledge by its involvement in debates and partnerships”. With the award, the company’s employees will get an electric car from ChoosEV at their disposal for three months, which they can use when going to meetings in Copenhagen.
