Michael Jørgensen was invited to the conference after having published the article ”Integrated design – a paradigm for the design of low energy office buildings” based on his experience from the competition project FIH Commercial Bank, designed by Henning Larsen Architects in 2008. The article presents examples of how energy simulations can be communicated graphically and thus support a design process focused on low energy building.
The conference aimed primarily at architects and engineers will feature subjects such as integrated design, efficient use of energy, costs associated with ‘zero energy’ design etc. It will take place in Las Vegas between 29 January and 2 February 2011.
