The Crystal Towers of 93,000 m2 in Riyadh have been nominated for the Innovation in Building award, which is given to projects displaying particular excellence in planning, analysis and design. With their unique location in the King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the two 18 and 26-storey Crystal Towers will constitute a new and distinctive landmark in the District.
The 34-storey building, Villas in the Sky, has been nominated for the Innovation in Generative Design award due to its unique, crystalline facade pattern developed on the basis of the parametric design method.
Both projects have been designed to achieve a LEED Certification upon completion.
The winners will be announced in connection with Bentley’s annual conference taking place from 19 to 20 October in Amsterdam.
