Henning Larsen Architects collaborates with many different specialists and counsellors and makes use of collaboration and open processes as a method of developing new ideas and strategies in a complex context with many different interests.
We are part of several networks and partnerships, including Gate 21 in which we are contributing to the development of a set of strategies regarding for instance energy-efficient renovation together with a number of municipalities, stakeholders and professional players. In addition, we have prepared 'the spatial climate strategy' in collaboration with the engineering company Orbicon, which is a process service to help municipalities with combining urban development and new strategies for climate optimisation.
Our many years of experience and knowledge of different project types make us competent strategic counsellors in the preliminary project phases. For instance, we provide counselling to the Georgian state where we help to define needs, opportunities and architectural potential in relation to the merger of a number of universities and knowledge environments in the capital, Tbilisi.
Our experience in planning and managing processes with many different participants – user groups, clients, authorities etc. has given us a strong basis for assessing and putting together knowledge from many different fields and connections. This knowledge is indispensable – in a counselling process as well as in the sketching phase.
